Starting at Coronet Peak, you'll navigate the Wharehuanui Cycle Trail, taking in the breathtaking views of the Arrow River Gorge and the historic charm of Arrowtown. This self-guided tour allows you to explore at your own pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery.

As you pedal through the picturesque vineyards of Gibbston Valley, you'll have the chance to sample some of the region's finest Pinot Noir. The ride concludes at The Church cellar door, where you can unwind with a glass of local wine while soaking in the stunning surroundings. With bike hire, shuttle transfers, and local tips included, all you need to do is enjoy the journey.

Make sure to plan your winery stops ahead of time to maximize your experience. This adventure is designed to be flexible and enjoyable, allowing you to create your own perfect day in wine country.

Itinerary

10:30am bike collection at Waikaka Church
Ride 32km from the base of Coronet Peak along the Wharehuanui Cycle Trail to Arrowtown and Gibbston Valley
Explore Arrowtown and watch bungee jumpers or try it yourself
Taste award-winning food and wine at the wineries
Finish at The Church cellar door and enjoy the views
4pm return shuttle to Waikaka Church

The self guided ride from coronet peak rd thru arrowtown to gibston valley was fantastic. E-bikes were in perfect condition and easily accessed the tracks The staff were great 👍 polite and helpful thanks again for a great out. Highly recommend to all
