  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Notes

  • Drive Time to Milford Sound: Traveling from Queenstown it will take around 5hrs to reach Milford. From Te Anau to Milford takes around 2hrs 20mins. This timing allows you to enjoy the journey with a few stops along the way. Make sure you fill your vehicle with petrol in Te Anau before traveling to Milford as there are no petrol stations in Milford Sound or en route.

    Parking is decided by the Milford Sound Tourism LTD. Payment for parking is by credit card machine.


    Please check in 30 minutes beforehand. Check in closes 15 minutes before departure, with gates closing 5 mins prior to departure.


    Please Note: a substitute vessel may be used on occasion. (subject to availability based on which vessel is operating on the day and time) All inclusions will still apply.

Verkürzte Tour trotz voller Bezahung

Die Landschaft im Milford Sound ist atemberaubend, keine Frage. Allerdings wurde die Tour als 2-stündige Schifffahrt verkauft, dauerte aber nur 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten. Das ist inakzeptabel und fühlt sich wie Betrug an. Wenn ich für eine bestimmte Dauer bezahle, erwarte ich auch, dass diese eingehalten wird. Keine Erklärung, keine Entschuldigung – einfach kürzer als versprochen. Sehr enttäuschend und definitiv nicht empfehlenswert!

Wir sind an einem sehr sonnigen Tag im Februar 2024 bei einer Bootstour mitgefahren. Die Aussicht auf die steil abfallenden Felswände hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Zudem haben wir einige Robben gesehen. Das Highlight war für uns die Fahrt ganz nah an einen Wasserfall.

It said the cruise time is 2 hours but we were back in 1.25hours We drove 5 hours from Queenstown for this???? So pricey n not even a cup of coffees was provided. The views are spectacular no doubt but you guys need to pump up the service n make it worth every cent.
