Susannah said... This was a wonderful experience. The grounds are beautiful, rich with native bush, but the highlight was the kiwi house. We spent a long time in there and saw the 4 kiwi, all of whom were incredibly active. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and I really recommend staying a long time in the kiwi house to let your eyes adjust. I have never before seen the kiwi so active! The presentation in the main theatre was also fantastic; how great to see a tuatara and ruru so close up!
