Returning for the seventh year, enjoy the full covered 100% pure ice rink, perfect for the cold weather. Feel the city come alive with all the mid-winter fun, available from 20 June to 19 July, wrap up warm and experience ice skating in the heart of Wellington! It offers cool fun for all ages and experience levels - with all hard gear included, just bring your winter woolies, some gloves and a taste for adventure!

On the ice, it’s perfect day or night, the ice rink is covered making it perfect to visit in all weather. Explore, create, learn, glide and have fun in Wellington's Winter Wonderland. If you’re looking for an icy winter treat for you and your family or friends, you will find it at the Wellington Ice Rink this June and July!

    Keep Yourself Safe

    Helmets or Paradice approved safety headband is compulsory for all skaters. Paradice encourages the wearing of gloves and appropriate clothing. Children of 6 years and under only have the option of wearing a helmet not the safety headband. Please follow our rink rules and the advice of staff.


  • Tickets are general admission and can be used at any time between the open hours.

    Important Please Note: All bookings are strictly non-refundable and tickets must be used in full; they cannot be partly redeemed.

    Discount bookings are strictly non-transferable and must be used on the chosen date, for the chosen location.
